- Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, without medical history of infectious disease and mental disorders; Applicants must have complete educational and working experiences, without criminal records; Applicants genuinely intend to study Chinese history and cultures, respect Chinese customs, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government as well as the rules and regulations of the University.
- Under the age of 40. High school diploma or above. Applicants shall provide complete educational experiences from elementary to the highest academic qualification and obtain corresponding diploma or academic certificate.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
- Applicants who were Chinese citizens and then emigrated to other countries and acquired nationality should hold the non-Chinese passport for 4 years and above, and have records of actual residence at least for 2 years (9 months actual residence can be calculated as one year, subject to the exit/ entry records) outside of China in the last 4 years (by April 30 of the enrollment year).
- The admission only starts after the verification of applicant's documents by Exist-Entry Administration Bureau of Qinhuangdao Public Security Bureau.

Program Description
Course Introduction
Long-term Chinese language programs begin in March and September respectively, and the duration of each program varies from one semester, one year, to two years. These programs cater to five different proficiency levels of Chinese, starting from the elementary level (I and II) and leading to intermediate (I and II) and advanced levels.
Major courses for long-term Chinese learners include Elementary Chinese, Oral Chinese, Chinese Listening, Chinese Reading, Chinese Composition, HSK Test Preparations, Chinese Culture, Chinese Music, Taiji Boxing, and Chinese Conversation.
Students who have completed the required courses of study and obtain a passing grade in all examinations will be awarded a certificate.

*1. Police Certificate
Police Certificate (non-school students shall provide Police Certificate. The certificate should be less than six months old, if valid date is unspecified; If the validity period is indicated, the materials shall prevail; Students enrolled shall provide a proof of school/university performance instead).
*2. Personal bank statement as evidence of financial support ($5,000 USD above, evidence of relationship must be provided in the case of parents being sponsors).
*3. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (by the admission, the certificate must be less than six months old).

For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
