Entry Requirements
Applicants must be physically and mentally healthy, without medical history of infectious disease and mental disorders; Applicants must have complete educational and working experiences, without criminal records; Applicants genuinely intend to study Chinese history and cultures, respect Chinese customs, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government as well as the rules and regulations of the University.
Under the age of 30. Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent. Applicants shall provide complete educational experiences from elementary to undergraduate program and provide Bachelor's Degree Certificate certified by the Ministry of Education of applicant's home country.
Valid New HSK-4 or above, HSKK (Intermediate or above)
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
Applicants who were Chinese citizens and then emigrated to other countries and acquired nationality should hold the non-Chinese passport for 4 years and above, and have records of actual residence at least for 2 years (9 months actual residence can be calculated as one year, subject to the exit/ entry records) outside of China in the last 4 years (by April 30 of the enrollment year).
The admission only starts after the verification of applicant's documents by Exist-Entry Administration Bureau of Qinhuangdao Public Security Bureau.

Police Certificate (non-university students shall provide Police Certificate. The certificate should be less than six months old, if valid date is unspecified; If the validity period is indicated, the materials shall prevail; Students enrolled shall provide a proof of school/university performance instead).

Personal bank statement as evidence of financial support ($5,000 USD above, evidence of relationship must be provided in the case of parents being sponsors; Eligible scholarship applicants are not required to submit this proof).

*5. Physical Examination Record for Foreigner (by the admission, the certificate must be less than six months old).
*6. Passport copies (photograph page), passport is not renewable from the time of application to the entry to China with a valid visa.

*10. Recommendation letters from two professors (above the academic title of associate professorship).
Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
